| Rhema Mission Trip to India 1998 The Welcome Meeting at Peace of Life Church |
NANCYE: After the evening meal that first day, we walked to Jivan Shati Church (Peace of Life Church), where the Thorats pastor. They had a Welcome Meeting for us and I have never been welcomed anywhere so well. The best description for this church is Joyful, for the Joy of the Lord shines out from their faces and their lives. |
| We were treated to colorfully dressed children singing and performing traditional dances, and the men's and women's groups presented songs and plays about the love of God. |
Pastor Thorat greeted us officially and some of our team members gave testimonies. Pastor and Mrs.
Thorat's ministry, The Lord's Delight Ministries, has many outreaches into the communities of Nagpur
and out into the villages of the countryside. They and the many men and women who help them in the
ministry are very hard-working, dedicated Christians.
